Those of you in the Boston area: if you haven't already done so, hie yourselves down to the SpeakEasy Stage Company in the South End to see [title of show], their current production that runs only one more week (until February 13). Here's SpeakEasy's description of the show:
[title of show] is a charming new musical about two struggling young writers writing a new musical about two struggling young writers writing a new musical. The pair, along with the help of two friends, write and perform their show-within-a-show at a musical theatre festival, and along the way learn lessons about themselves as people, friends, and artists.
The cast of four is terrific. This is a delectable little confection of entertainment. Make an evening of it by having dinner next-door at Sibling Rivalry.
